As a Disability Support Worker at People Care Services, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals living with disabilities to lead fulfilling and independent lives. This casual/permanent part-time position is based in Hervey Bay, QLD, and offers flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments.
Candidates must be available to work across 24/7 shift patterns including weekdays, weekends, and evenings as required.

• Providing personalised support and assistance to individuals with a range ofdisabilities, enabling them to participate in daily activities and achieve their goals
• Assisting with personal care, including grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
• Facilitating community engagement and recreational activities to promote socialinclusion
  Maintaining detailed records and documentation to ensure the highest quality ofcare
• Collaborating with the broader care team to develop and implement individualisedsupport plans
• Advocating for the rights and needs of your clients

• A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to enhancing their quality of life
• Previous experience in disability support, aged care, or healthcare preferred but not essential for enthusiastic candidates
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with your clients
• A caring, patient, and empathetic nature, with the ability to adapt your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual
• A valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation
• Completion of a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification ishighly regarded
• Must possess a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check at the time of application
• Must hold current First Aid and CPR certification at the time of application
• Valid National Police Check (no older than 6 months)
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa
• Must possess NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Must possess NDIS New Worker Induction Module
• Must possess NDIS Supporting Safe & Effective Communication Module
• Must possess NDIS Supporting Safe & Enjoyable Meals Module
